The countries that are saying "friends of Haiti" are in reality its worst enemies. We all know for fact that the political crisis in Haiti is leading by so-called "Friends of Haiti". An international campaign of destabilization has taking place since President Aristide was brought back into power after he had been ejected in 1991. The so-called friends did or are doing everything to discredit the President claiming he is a drug dealer and stealing the country wealth. Some agencies of these fake friends led the way for uprising. Haiti was never seen by the international community as a good example for the world since its independency, and the celebration its bicentennial of being a free country, has created more hatred for this poor country, country that never bothered anybody and always willing to be everybody's friends. The blockage of some economic aids had created more frustrations and more anger within the population enable to pursue their happiness in that so called democracy. A fake democracy is what they want to impose on us. Can we talk of democracy if the population cannot eat or cannot have a decent way of living?
The real democracy is not only the fact that people can express their opinion freely. People who starve cannot be in democracy, people who cannot go to school cannot be in democracy, people who don't have medical assurance or send their children to a well equipped hospital cannot be as well in democracy. Haiti's democracy is an extraordinary type of freedom that will allow people to live decently and pursue happiness. People who cannot pursue happiness cannot certainly live in a democracy. Democracy is the addition of those combined freedom (economic, social, right to have a good health care, a good education, free from starvation, ect.). Haiti will never be in democracy.
The situation of Haiti now is more chaotic than ever. When a country doesn't have the economic means, it always loses its sovereignty because they are deeply dependent from others. It is like we lose our independency and the people who are helping us always dictate what to do and when we refuse and trying to do our will, they cut those economic aids or prohibit other countries from giving them as well. We don't have any salvation and our lives are depending on them. They divide us and make us fight every day against our own blood. They make us so weak than we cannot see their policy of destabilizations. Every single of them wants to secure their interest and create more poverty and more blood flooding because that will make them in a better position to dictate us their will. They are happy to see us like this. They enjoy our misfortune. So can we call those countries our friends? Aristide or any other world leader who wants to see progress and trying to change their country will always be the evil or the bad guy. This is the dominant countries' rules and they are better off economically when we are poor and cannot satisfy the people's needs.
Where are our so called friends? Where are they? Look at us now, they're acting all innocent, they’re acting powerless, they created that situation, and now, they are walking around it like they have nothing to do with it, I thought they were the ones to call for help when we are in trouble, I thought they were the ones to make peace in a civil war, well I guess our civil war will go on and if it is stop it wont be them whom will stop it. We are all alone now in our miseries, our pains. Who will help us wipe the tears of our people? Certainly not them. We need help now and we don't want to have civil war, we don't want to have blood flooding. We have too much blood flooding already and we don't want it anymore because it doesn't do any good for us. When they needed us, we help them unconditionally now they are laughing at us, laughing at our difficulties. Now we know which one is our friend and which one who is not. Haitian people are taking notes of that.
