My husband Joel and I have been missionaries in Haiti since 1975. I remember your mother telling me that there were cholera outbreaks in Cite Soleil in the mid to late eighties when she and your Dad lived and worked there.
Please tell her we are thinking of them and if she has any records or memory of these outbreaks it would be wonderful to share with me. I am convinced our current outbreak is just more of the same that she saw then but American media and medicine have now taken notice.
