OTTAWA ONTARIO--(Marketwire - 03 08 10) - Their Excellencies Michaelle Jean Governor General of Canada and Mr. Jean-Daniel Lafond are in Port-au-Prince in the Republic of Haiti to undertake a two-day visit. Upon their arrival Their Excellencies met with President Rene Preval and Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive. On the occasion of International Women's Day the Governor General took part.
