About the Haitian Heritage Museum (HHM)
Founded in 2004 to commemorate Haiti's Bicentennial, the Haitian Heritage Museum (HHM) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving and showcasing Haitian culture and heritage. Located in Little Haiti, Miami, HHM serves as a cultural hub where visitors can experience Haitian art, music, films, and literature.
The Haitian Heritage Museum plays a key role in connecting the Haitian Diaspora, fostering community development, and contributing to urban revitalization in Little Haiti. For more than 20 years, HHM has presented many exhibitions, engaged tens of thousands of students, and created many job opportunities, forming meaningful partnerships that benefit Haitians, Haitian-Americans, and the broader community.
Through its work, HHM continues to celebrate Haitian contributions while leaving a lasting cultural legacy for future generations.
